@swampgirl9, in an effort to help and for no other reason, do note that the upgrade from 10.8 to 10.9 and beyond is a no-cost upgrade, and doesn't take much more HDD space than 10.8...

RE: Support of lists
Totally agree with these thoughts. Err on the side of simplicity and getting the core functions right. If, indeed, there is an excellent library to use for the MMD formatting, then using it makes brilliant sense. It seems to be the biggest challenge in most Markdown editors.
Just making sure that you caught that formatting issue that I posted in the screenshot?

RE: Focused suggestion Paragraph indention
When you export as RTF and import into Word, you should get the paragraph breaks you expect and can then have them formatted within Word however you want.

RE: Support of lists
Looks like it does.
Note, however, that copying from your text, above, and pasting into Typed created an interesting font issue (see screenshot).
Thanks, again. I'll swap to Focused.

RE: Support of lists
By the way, if it matters, I'm running Typed 1.2. I'm not sure how/when to migrate to Focused, but I haven't done anything to do so, yet.

RE: Support of lists
Thanks!
Here's what I type:
This is a lead-in - this is a list - this is a nested list - More - End it
Here's how it looks in preview:
This is a lead-in- this is a list - this is a nested list - More- End it
Ironically, the same thing formats perfectly in this forum software:
This is a lead-in
- this is a list
- this is a nested list
- More
- End it
- this is a list

Support of lists
I have a set of nested lists like this:
- list item
- nested list item
- nested list item
- list item
In Markdown, you put two or more spaces at the end of the lines, Focused should format as line breaks and list out as you see them. However, in the current release, they don't line break or nest.
I can't figure out a way to type into this forum the specific text, since it gets formatted as a list (correctly, I might add!). Let me know if you need anything else on this.
Thanks,
ssh - list item
