Octave Scale

It seems to me like the Octave Scale range is quite small. I am under the impression that this setting adjusts the size of the forms generated. For example, if the generator is generating eye-like shapes, the eyes will be bigger relatively if the Octave Scale is turned up to the maximum (3). If this is interpretation of the code is accurate, I would like to be able to adjust the scale to extreme levels; maybe to generate an enormous eye or a sea of tiny eyes.
If my understanding of this process is completely backwards then please enlighten me if you have an insight.

Hi, I would like to know the answer to these questions as well... (would love to be able to scale up DD shapes)
in fact, I would love a breakdown of what all the parameters do... I didn't see it in the documentation.
