i was having the same problem until i switched the mode from gpu to cpu normal and it works fine now.

I also have been experiencing a problem, when I start the dream process on GPU it crashes every time after few frames. It doesnt happen on CPU but its REALLLLLLLLY slow and I am using footages for films so they are long its impossible to use the software like this.....

@jnpics Hi, how have you gone with processing video? I wish the program had advanced video features. It also seems that all the admin have disappeared. Any tips for better video results?

Ah. But how can I turn the zoom off entirely? I need to match layer positions in other apps.

Consistency in results?

Hi Chad

Due to the nature of the Deep Dream engine and that it uses a Neural Network you are unlikely to get the same results each time you run the same image through the app. This is expected behaviour as the Deep Dream engine may see different patterns in different orders each time the image is run through the app.

Deep Dreamer GPU Crashes

Hi ya

Unfortunately we've not got much out to anyone over the last few months for Deep Dreamer. It's still being worked on, primarily around the stabilising of the GPU mode and we have been experimenting with being able to teach it new images. Unfortunately this stuff just eats cycles and with only two of us that can cause things to slow down significantly.

We are planning on getting an updated release out to address the GPU issues that some people have been having. I appreciate the heads up to the info you provided. We've seen these and been using them while working on stability.

Large Images Shrink (and crashes Deep Dreamer)

I am in a similar position. I love the possibilities, but the output is horrendously small and useless for print. I got this app as part of a bundle, so no big sweat, but there is no way to get decent resolution out of it, and no controls for that at all (sizing output, image type, etc.). This is NOT a pro level app, nor ready for prime time yet. Sad that.

There's more to this.

After a couple of hours trying to process the movie using GPU my entire computer crashed.

Would be nice to have a clue as to what's going on.

Hey, sorry to hear your having issues with the latest version! Can you give me some more info about the machine and OS your using. This info can be found from the Apple menu and choosing "About This Mac".

Also, below are links to the 2 previous versions. Can you let me know which works best for you?

Does Deep Dreamer run well under MacOS Mojave 10.14.2?

Using unlicensed trial version of Deep Dreamer, I have been getting crashes when processing both single images and video. Can anyone shed some light on how well DD runs under the latest Mac OS?

I have been contacting the makers of the software and its been almost 3 months since I have sent an email

I have also written to here on forum twice and no one wrote back I don't know what is the reason of this irresponsible support but if there is not going to be any updates or any NEWS from the MAKERS about what is going on I would like a refund..

This kind of render speed with CPU is a joke..

Im writing here because no one returned to my emails..

If anyone is planning on buying this product please do not buy it before knowing that u won't be able to render even 20 second video in a DAY. It takes almost a day to render it with the software's current condition.

Also, consider this before buying because no one will be answering your emails for any kind of help....

Custom training image dataset?

(Also: if I process a video, how do I play the preview in the main window?)

Batch process images?

Deep Dreamer plays a chime when it's done processing an image, which is a handy feature for letting you know when it's done, but I was wondering if you can set it to work on a whole folder of images (mostly 640 x 480) so it can process them one at a time, without the user having to initiate the process each time. Processing is fairly slow, especially if the "Trippy" preset is used, so batch processing would be handy.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but I haven't seen this mentioned in the app description. Is all the processing of Deep Dreamer done locally on my Mac or is the image file sent to Google's servers somewhere and the processing done there? I believe some iOS apps do send the image out for processing. I'm intrigued by the thought of a sophisticated AI running locally on my Mac. Just wondering if it's the Mac doing the hallucinating or if it's somewhere else?

Hello, I just ran a video through deep dreamer.

It deep dreamed two frames and then the next hundred frames it just added a significant amount of video noise rather than the psychedelic effect.

Version for older OS X?

Hi, I would like to buy the full version of Deep Dreamer but cannot use it on OS X 10.8. Is there any version floating around that works on the older OS versions? Upgrading is not an option for me on this machine unfortunately.
